Experience
- raptor lab SARLLead VR DeveloperJuly 2021 - Today (4 years and 11 months)I worked on various B2B projects and continued working on our latest VR games in the meantime. I got the opportunity to collaborate with Deezer to prototype two online musical experiences: one based on a gameplay influenced by the music and the other focusing on a contemplative aspect of the music, with environments that can change with the current music that is playing. Another contract I worked for was for the Exoflow company. We created a virtual multiplayer space with different areas and expositions showing the different company's partners. Lastly, I made a multiplayer game called RugDollz for a company in 3 months with a colleague. I worked on multiple aspect of the game, such as the network synchronization, all platforms and moving elements, intro and character selection, complete UI interactions (chat, animations, minimap), and did the major part of the game design. During this project, I got to interact a lot with our client and deliver weekly regular builds for them to test and receive their feedback.
- raptor lab SARLVR Game DeveloperSeptember 2020 - July 2021 (10 months)I work in the implementation of a new open world game which is PC and VR compatible. I have the opportunity to build complete VR interactions (VR walking, driving, inventory management, PROLocomotion), to create a complex animation system and to manage the release of the majority of our updates on Steam where I did essentially the whole coding parts. I was also able to manage part of the communication related to the game: I got to interact with the community actively and to meet with partners and content creators in order to participate to their projects.
- raptor lab SARLVR Software Engineer InternFebruary 2020 - September 2020 (7 months)Yverdon-les-Bains, SwitzerlandFor this internship in parallel with my Master Project at EPFL, I worked on a physical VR hand system using two haptic devices (Novint Falcon). The system was created using Unity and Oculus headset and controllers. I learned to bind a VR environment to a haptic device, to implement physical interactions in a game engine and to explore this research field more in depth to discover new techniques for haptic interactions.
