Joanne in a few words
I am a hard-working person who strives for excellence in all aspects of my life. I am always eager to learn new skills and improve my command of other disciplines. A passionate and diligent attitude giving advice and ensuring the promotion of a nurturing healthy work environment. I have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a number of people at different levels across the business. I am self-assured and persuasive; encouraging employees to believe in themselves, critical in a People Focus role. As such when carrying out anything to do with HR projects, all will be dealt with promptly and reliably. This includes ensuring policies are consistent, HR systems are in place, supporting the current workforce to reduce attrition rates and proactively creating new systems and programmes to improve ways of working.

Recently, I worked with an independent Tyre Services company to meet employment law regulations by creating a Written Statement of Employment Particulars, a Staff Handbook, and updating the Health and Safety Manual. They were all relevant, current, and in accordance with current employment law in order to add value to the business and form part of the HR strategy. Along with this, documents relating to Portable Appliance Testing, Fire Risk Assessment, Risk Assessments, documented Training Records, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) were created, as well as compliance support and assistance to benefit the business, reducing risks by facilitating a better working environment and increasing employee productivity.
