Hello!

I am an experienced data scientist who has spent over two years working at a leading UK recipe box company.

Having both a first class bachelors degree in aerospace engineering, and a distinction masters degree in data science, I am equipped with the high level of understanding of maths and programming that is required to solve problemnts within the data science space.

In my professional experience, I was primarily working on solving problems within the context of our supply chain, such as finding the best stock to hold at each factory, efficiently finding the best sites to route orders to, or even building a simulation of our supply chain to understand the impacts of hypothetical business changes. These projects saved my company vast amounts of money, as well as also allowing them to drastically expand their offering to customers. Within these projects I implemented various machine learning and optimisation models, though I also value implementing something simple and fast when a more advanced model might just end up being overkill.

I consider myself to have excellent communication skills and love working as part of a team, though I am equally happy working independently.
