I bring 13+ years of engineering experience building large web applications for companies such as IATA, Siemens, Novartis and Honda. I have specialised in backend and infrastructure development utilising tools such as Node, TypeScript, AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes. I have also used RabbitMQ, Mongo and Web Sockets in a number of projects. At IATA, I built a serverless data pipeline on AWS that aggregated flight data from 70% of worldwide airlines into a central data lake. At Siemens, I migrated the project infrastructure to AWS and EKS for the Siemens smart building sub-division. At Novartis, I proposed and implemented a SocketIO pipeline for the Clinical Data Access portal that enabled near-realtime access to 40TB of highly valuable clinical data locked in previously inaccessible binary archives.
