Sami is a digital product development expert, with 20 years of experience in creating digital services, and over 6 years of special focus on mobility services and systems.

Sami has held product development leadership positions at Nokia, Microsoft, SSH as well as startups including MaaS Global where he created the award winning Whim service, the first commercial MaaS operator, along with its interfaces with ticketing systems around the world, ABT and contactless EMV issuing.

Currently Sami provides expert consultancy services for mobility projects including WSP customer West of England, and Baloise Mobility, a Swiss insurer.

Sami is keen on creating new things and making them approachable to people, as evidenced by several awards, including 2 Webbys, a Red Dot Design award, and a Good Design Award.
