With over 5 years of experience in climate science, sustainability, and carbon markets, I am the Chief Science Officer at Azzera, a company that delivers climate solutions with the utmost integrity. My mission is to source, select, and rate climate-positive projects around the world in line with industry best practices, and to design offset plans that meet our clients' climate goals. I also work hand-to-hand with the Carbon Accounting team to help our client measure, report and set reduction targets on their emissions in line with industry best practices.
I have in depth experience of Climate Change Science, and worked with highly-funded SaaS Climate Change risk assessment company ClimateAI: building their modelling framework for Risk assessments for Crop supply chains.
I have a PhD in Plant Ecophysiology from Montpellier SupAgro and recent training on Climate FinTech from Tenity. I have developed and applied various models and tools to assess climate change risks and impacts for different crops and regions. I have also co-founded Phymea Systems, a start-up that provides innovative solutions for plant phenotyping and precision agriculture. I am passionate about sharing knowledge and insights to drive climate action, and I am constantly learning and exploring new technologies, registries, and suppliers in the carbon market. I believe in tackling climate change threats through innovation, creativity, and hard work.
