Akinwande Mark-Obaba

Akinwande is a Tech enthusiast, coach & senior leader with over 20 years delivery experience in IT portfolio & programme management, change & communications management, product-led agile transformation, risk management, customer engagement & management, governance & reporting and operations management across multiple sectors.

He currently has oversight for complex Programmes, Strategy, Governance, Risk & Control for the leading Tower company in Africa and is a trusted advisor to the Business in the area of Technology, People and Process. For about eight (8) years leading to his current role, he functioned in transformation roles that delivered change at enterprise levels in the financial services sector. In this period, he led a team of over 8 programme & project managers in digital transformation programmes for one of the leading Banks in Sub-Saharan Africa between 2016 and 2017, he was also the Change Management Consultant on the EPMO set up for one of the largest Central Banks in the EMEA region.

Earlier in his career, he worked with one of the leading global consulting firms - PwC as an Experienced Operations & Strategy Consultant having previously spent about seven (7) years with two of Africa’s telecommunication companies, leading Infrastructure & Technology Projects.

He is the Co-founder of a PMO & Digital Transformation Consultancy called Insiqua Solutions. He is also a PM Consultant with Aldarton Limited, UK. He is on the faculty of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria where he teaches on Project Management and provides business mentorship to SMEs.

He has a first degree in Industrial & Production Engineering and has an Executive MBA degree from the Lagos Business School, with a mandatory executive education module at IESE Business School.
