PRESS ASSOCIATION TRAINING

I attended a 17-week full-time NCTJ training course with the Press Association, in London Victoria. During this time I trained in Teeline Shorthand, IPSO standards and Media Law, as well as gaining real-world experience conducting interviews, Vox-Pops and more as part of my magazine portfolio (an additional feature of the course). I achieved my 60wpm shorthand midway through the course, and currently sit at 80wpm.
