At the United Nations (OHCHR), I’ve led the design and rollout of flagship systems such as the National Recommendations Tracking Database (NRTD)

and the Universal Human Rights Index (UHRI)

, embedding LLM-powered automation to classify data and assist Member States. Before that, I built front-end modules at SAP, designed back-end architectures at Move24, and delivered large-scale IT projects for organizations like ICAO and the French Ministry of Defence.

I built the full‑stack architecture of the National Recommendations Tracking Database (NRTD http://nrtd.ohchr.org) and the Universal Human Rights Index (UHRI http://uhri.ohchr.org), OHCHR Knowledge Gateway (https://knowledgegateway.ohchr.org/) and various internal applications, migrated legacy data, and introduced CI/CD and containerisation for easier country deployments. To speed up treaty‑body reporting, I prototyped BERT‑based text‑classification models and lightweight LLM pipelines that auto‑tag incoming documents, boosting analyst productivity. I also designed and delivered hands‑on training for government officials and presented the platform at high‑level UN panels.

I modelled complex transport constraints in MySQL, exposed them via a RESTful API, and introduced Redis‑backed job queues that cut quotation latency from 6 s to <1 s. The system processed ~15 k route calculations per day at peak.

What I learned
I learned that programming language does not matter. It's all about the architecture and the design patterns.
