• Responsible for Architect and maintaining the AWS estate.

• Build CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy their in-house built application

• Audit AWS infrastructure to explore and implement measures that can reduce the cost without compromising client SLA and data security

• Audit and fix the drift between existing Terraform code and the AWS infrastructure

• Fix existing monitoring solution and implement an early warning system to prevent system outages

• Responsible for Architecting and migrating Insights Platform from On-Premise to AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Design and Build a Docker-based platform by converting the current VM-based Insights platform and orchestrating using Kubernetes.

• Initially, we built this solution on Kubernetes on a VM but finally moved on to the Amazon Elastic Kubernetes service.

• Build Insights Platform infrastructure from scratch with Terraform based on new Cloud Architecture.

• Guide our application development team in re-platforming our Analytical database from on-Prem Kognitio to Cloud-based Snowflake.

• Completed a proof of concept to migrate current AWS-based architecture onto Azure by re-writing our AWS Terraform modules to Azure Terraform modules.

• Implemented AWS Cognito-based authentication solution to expose AWS Elasticsearch and Kibana to teams worldwide.

• Implemented fluent-bit-based sidecar solution to collect logs from Kubernetes pods and loaded logs onto AWS Elasticsearch and AWSS3 buckets using Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose.

• Be the principal point of contact for DevOps and software engineering within the Insights & Analytics Unit.

• Provide DevOps process improvement recommendations based on best practices and industry standards.

• Review and evolve our engineering and product technology stack to ensure they are fit for purpose and provide value for money for our clients.

• Provide thought leadership on product innovation and engineering, keep abreast of new technologies, and make recommendations for the future technical roadmap, including paying off technical debt.

• Provide technical leadership and oversight of implementation and deployment planning, system integration, quality assurance and sustainability of technical solutions.
