• • Ran an agentic development loop with Claude Code: clarified requirements and surfaced gaps, decomposed work into a granular task plan, drove agent-led implementation task-by-task, and gated each task behind personal review and approval before proceeding — a human-in-the-loop governance model for AI-assisted delivery.

• • Built a deterministic, versioned validation engine producing structured, explainable audit findings, with a configurable policy layer for organizational controls (PO enforcement, approval thresholds).

• • Designed durable job processing with exponential backoff and failure isolation, plus idempotent upload workflows using hash-based deduplication for data integrity and traceable, audit-ready compliance results.

Contributed to architecture and delivery on the Supplier Actions & Notifications Platform — a multi-tenant internal platform processing ~1M events/day, used by multiple teams to automate supplier communication across Wayfair's ~20K-supplier supply chain.

• • Tech lead for the ASN failure-actions initiative, end-to-end from EDI discovery through production. Designed the Kafka + Avro canonical contract turning ASN failures into per-PO supplier actions; drove cross-team execution with EDI and Operations. ~$2.5M annual GRS impact.

• • Authored the RFC comparing Cloud Scheduler, K8s CronJob, in-app poller, and Cloud Tasks; drove org-wide adoption of Google Cloud Tasks via the Eureka enablement and onboarding docs other teams reused.

• • Designed and shipped auto-close and reminder mechanisms on Cloud Tasks. 56% of COI actions auto-closed, 30% addressed after a reminder, ~30K tasks queued in the first days at launch.

• • Integrated the platform with the supplier ticketing system to create/close actions on ticket state; managed delivery in Jira with detailed epics and tickets.

• • Took ownership of legacy PHP builder-class knowledge after the partner team (EPAM) departed — set up a debuggable XDebug environment, ran knowledge-shares, supported PHP changes. Contributed to migrating email-builder classes into event-driven microservices, enabling decommissioning of legacy MSSQL and Jenkins for ~$590K/year savings.

• • Led the knowledge transfer and architectural audit of the Kong API Gateway after the previous owner team departed, enabling rapid resolution of a P1 total-traffic outage and introducing operational runbooks.

• • Tiger team member productionizing GCP Workflows as the corporate standard; delivered Backstage-integrated Terraform templates that cut provisioning time for downstream teams.

• • Diagnosed and resolved timeout failures on large-volume POs in an Apollo Federation subgraph via DataLoader batching and structured tracing.

Tech lead for a 14-person cross-functional team building enterprise systems for a national bank. Owned the full SDLC across multiple parallel projects — requirements, stakeholder management, architecture, hiring, code review, and delivery. Final technical decision-maker and primary interface between engineering and the bank's business and regulatory stakeholders.

• • Led architecture and delivery of a dual-track Asset Management system for bank-owned and seized properties. Went deep on depreciation rules and double-entry bookkeeping ahead of stakeholder and Accounting-team integration meetings — using that domain depth to drive requirements and support the team's implementation. • • Designed and shipped a RESTful contract engine for the bank's Facilities (Loans) System, including a composable UI component framework that let new loan-product types be built via composition rather than bespoke development — reducing time-to-market for new financial products. • • Audited and refactored the legacy Litigation system: consolidated 100+ fragmented web forms into 30 reusable components, introduced DDD and repository patterns through hands-on pairing with the team, and used the project as a platform for engineer growth — coached one engineer to the point of leading her own project independently.
