Currently heading the Quality Assurance department in a technically advanced and fast-growing software engineering environment. Responsible for managing and mentoring 3 geographically diverse teams of 8-10 experienced testers while driving strategic QA initiatives to ensure high quality product delivery and leading an effort to reduce test cycle times by converting the entire regression test suite into scalable automation, including automated deployment of builds, overnight/weekend execution and well-formatted reporting.

Led the end-to-end UAT process for a large-scale application deployment developed by a third party vendor, intended for rollout across 40 divisions and approximately 15,000 users within a major organisation. The role required a blend of technical oversight, stakeholder communication, and strategic coordination.

• - Acted as the single point of contact between clients, business analysts, development, and test teams, ensuring alignment across all phases of testing.

• - Analysed Agile-based release requirements and prepared test scripts, ensuring readiness for SIT and UAT.

• - Oversaw structured release planning, including resource allocation, location prioritisation, and test support availability.

• - Managed documentation standards, ensuring compliance, traceability, and version control.

• - Led the coordination of system integration testing, tracking progress, triaging issues, and preparing summary reports while simultaneously planning for upcoming releases.

• - Identified opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and coverage.

• - Spent extended periods at client sites to plan, coordinate, and execute UAT cycles, including hands-on support during testing and real-time issue resolution.

• - Maintained transparent communication with clients regarding scope, fixes, and upcoming features.

• - Supported deployment, optimised execution planning, and led risk mitigation efforts.

• - Created detailed UAT reports and conducted sign-off meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

• - Ensured smooth final release support and transition to client teams for deployment.
