Bogdan Oproescu

Bogdan is an IT expert, with more than 15 years of relevant technical expertise and international experience.

Bogdan possesses broad experience with data warehousing, and Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL and SSIS, business intelligence processes, SSAS, SSRS, PowerBI, and .Net. During his current engagement on a national security project (under NDA), Bogdan has been using .NET and C# and SQL Server with T-SQL, SSAS, and SSRS daily. Moreover, as a JiVS Technical Lead and Chief Architect at Genpact Romania, he created all required Microsoft SQL Server databases and the entire set of JiVS automation scripts in T-SQL and while doing this, has mastered Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and 2012, as well as SQL Server 12 and later versions using Transact-SQL (T-SQL) and concepts of advanced database administration. Additionally, he possesses considerable knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL and is an official SQL and PL/SQL instructor, having created his own SQL and PL/SQL courses for his former colleagues at Volkswagen in Germany. His other competencies include C#, C and C++, Python and Java. Bogdan also has experience working in a banking environment at Credit Suisse where, as a Senior Datawarehouse Engineer, he was involved in the Development and Support of Data Staging Processes with ETL/DWH and Data Modelling. He is a fluent English and German and Romanian speaker who is looking for new challenges in his career to demonstrate and sharpen his IT competencies in banking and/or high-tech and challenging environments.
