Carrie Leaver

I'm Carrie, a versatile, super creative graphic designer and illustrator with 7 years' experience based in sunny Worthing in the UK. Happy to travel on site when needed but I'm completely comfortable working remotely.

I can be helpful with presentations, PDF design, illustrations, icons, social media graphics and some video editing among other things. I'm good with Adobe Indesign, Illustrator (particularly icons) and Photoshop but I also specialise in Powerpoint (I’m good at making on-brand templates and sprucing up boring slide decks!) I work as much as I can part time around a small human (Weds-Friday, odd hours around that and weekends when needed) but I'm a very reliable freelance pair of hands. I’m extremely passionate about my work and can listen, take and apply feedback 😊

Before starting my business I was the in-house Graphic Designer at an award entry consultancy for over 6 years, creating designed award entries, case studies and marketing collateral, icons, social media graphics and other assets for both clients and the company. I was lucky enough to work with many brands across all sorts of industries, working within brand guidelines to bring stories to life using infographics, diagrams, graphs, photos and icons. This was a varied role in a small company that required me to be incredibly resourceful (as is so often the case with small businesses!), think outside the box and be totally self-directed in all areas including project management and professional development. As always with award entries, projects were deadline driven and often required a tight turnaround.
