Cost of Living Programme @ Birmingham City Council Following the declaration of a Cost of Living (CoL) Crisis by Birmingham City Council in late 2022, the Cost-of-Living Programme was established to manage the City Councils crisis response across 4 primary areas; Warm Welcome, Energy Efficiency, Food and Information & Advice. My role included:

- Developed the delivery plan for FY23/24 for two workstreams to provide targeted support for Citizens during Cost of Living Crisis, aligning with the wider Programme objectives.

- Developed the Warm Welcome project plan, in line with the overarching strategy and objectives of the workstream

- Designed and implemented the 'Birmingham Warm Welcome' Directory within the Birmingham City Council's website including establishing ongoing processes for maintaining the Directory

- Developed the approach for grant funding applications within Warm Welcome including the funding criteria for external applicants

- Managed the grant funding process through to awarding of funds to third parties.

- Developed and presented the proposal for the provision of additional Council funding to support residents requiring crisis payments for gas/electric during winter period.

- Engagement with internal and external stakeholders through the workstreams to ensure key messaging, issues and challenges within the development of the Warm Welcome network were managed.

- Developed key lines and updates for external newsletters for the network, as well as coordinating on network events.

- Worked with Birmingham City Council Media Office to coordinate responses to press enquiries and coordinate interviews within Warm Welcome network

Senior Project Manager within Biosecurity, Borders and Trade Programme responsible for the system delivery, readiness and transition to new Import and Export services for Phytosanitary goods. This includes the delivery of the Exports service from private beta through to public beta aligned to GDS standards and delivery of the Imports service into private beta.

- Development and management of the overarching project plan, across two systems, including technical delivery, business readiness and transition activities

- Development of the business readiness approach for both internal and external stakeholders inc. training and communications

- Supporting business Product Owner and working with technical delivery leads to agree prioritisation of development roadmap in line with overarching plan and strategy inc. resolving any conflicts and user story sign off on behalf of Product Owner, as required.

- Chairing fortnightly roadmap alignment session to ensure all key stakeholders are aligned

- Coordinate on technical releases ensuring appropriate project governance and business readiness tasks are complete

- Documenting and presenting key decisions to Programme Design Authority

- Coordinating media / PQ responses for systems related queries

- Liaising with Defra policy in relation to system delivery in support of relevant incoming policy changes

- Resource planning, weekly project reporting and RAID management

Senior Project Manager - Legacy Data

- Managed repatriation of all overseas data back to UK, working closely with two suppliers undertaking technical activities

- Commenced the migration of repatriated overseas data into Office 365 (SharePoint Online)

- Developed options for migration approaches including business transformation and user impacts, which were in turn presented to senior stakeholders

- Developed resource and financial forecast as well as project planning to support FCO's wider business case for data migration and decommissioning projects

- Collaborate with wider Programme team and FCO to ensure no potential operational or user impacts across the parallel workstreams Senior Project Manager - Move to Cloud

- Office 365 deployment inc. Exchange, OneDrive , Teams & SPO circa 22,000 users globally

- Project Management of development, packaging and testing of desktop clients to be released to the estate as subsequent phases of the Programme

- Oversee and ensure the service transition and acceptance into service for responsible projects

- Project related reporting, planning and financials

- Led the development of the new FCO Intranet within Office 365, based within SharePoint online including migration of data. This included the management of Microsoft as the lead supplier as well as liaising with key senior stakeholders to deliver the FCO's vision
