About Claudia

Hello!

I am a teacher turned journalist, writer and editor with a passion for education, science, research and travel writing

I worked for several years as a staff journalist for news outlets in the education and international education sector. Since going freelance in 2021, I have been working with several clients as a copywriter, editor and feature writer.

As a writer, I am at home writing anything from short articles and listicles to long-read features, research reports, or press releases.

As an editor, I love working with writers to help them achieve their goals and craft clear, impactful, engaging copy that amplifies their voice.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading and I regularly undertake training and professional development courses.

I have experience conducting research, gained during my MSc in Educational Neuroscience, and extensive experience with data analysis, gained both during my MSc and in my job as a data journalist.

I helped writers develop their ideas into articles, providing support at every stage of the process – from structuring the article to editing and copy-editing for publishing. I also managed the CMS.

    - Writing, editing and researching for an independent market research organisation focusing on international education.

-Ghostwriting. I wrote a memoir novel for a mental health professional based in the US (the book is in the editing stage at the moment).
