Since 2019 I've been working freelance on a full time basis. I have been developing animated videos for interesting projects for major clients like UK Coaching and The Courts of Advocacy and the BBC. In addition to my own projects, I have also been helping established design agencies around the country with their needs. I have been part of a core group of people who run a Creative Mornings project; a community for artists and independents to meet monthly and be part of discussions about growing the creative talent in the local community. Working independently has helped cement my ethos of continuously developing the skills to ensure my business and craft reach the next milestone.

In my role as Multimedia Designer, I take lead responsibility for all aspects of illustration and graphical asset creation, motion graphics, and video production within the Digital Learning team. In order to deliver effectively against every brief, I work closely with the lead Instructional Designer to develop creative concepts and animation storyboards to meet project and learning objectives. I take ownership of the creative process, engaging with key stakeholders directly to pitch ideas and take on constructive feedback while budgeting effort and the resources required to deliver concepts. To ensure efficiency and brand consistency, I take responsibility for building centralised libraries of bespoke graphical assets for project teams to draw from. I have also developed marketing materials for other aspects of the business, including branded digital comms and presentations. As a more experienced member of the team, I take pride in being able to support newer team members to develop their skills using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects, as well as in areas such as graphic design, user interface design, layout and sound design.

I was first employed by Ashorne Hill as an e-Learning Designer, and was responsible for all aspects of the visual design and technical development of SCORM-compliant e-learning materials. During my time in this role I was given the opportunity to apply my skills in digital graphic design and illustration to raise the bar in quality and to develop my practical understanding of user interface design principles.
