I've extensive experience in business analysis, having supported projects ranging from enterprise / global to small start-ups, using a range of methodologies. These projects have been primarily focussed in the financial services and legal domains but my skillset can be applied to all areas.

I pride myself on documenting requirements and processes, capturing these succinctly for a range of audiences, both technical and business oriented.

Working as a Digital Business Analyst within Howden's xTrade team, I'm responsible for the elicitation of requirements and subsequent configuration of Aviation products to allow insurance brokers to quote and bind risks in the London Market.
Collaborating with a range of stakeholders, I've delivered a number of products to aggressive deadlines resulting in gross written premiums exceeding $7 million and counting.
I take a proactive approach to supporting UAT testing and resolution of live defects.

Project: Implementation of new digital front end for commercial insurance platform.

◦ Creation and ownership of detailed user stories in Jira, with input sought from all areas of the business, with particular focus on the Underwriting team.
◦ Analysis and design of detailed datapoint spreadsheets to document question sets for covers and premium classes.
◦ Supporting the project team with Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement & retrospectives.
◦ Creation of detailed Confluence pages to document best practices and processes to ensure consistent standards across the team.
◦ Lead BA on UI/UX enhancements across the platform, working closely with SMEs and Development team.

Project: Digitisation of Funeral Planning element of business, including successful implementation of a new bespoke e-trade portal; Analysis of existing manual offline processes and transitioning these online.

Projects: Creation of RFP for new public facing website; Launching of legal tooling pilots; Improvement of BI / reporting processes; Analysis and documentation of Walkers' billing processes and integrations.

• Sole BA responsible for gathering and documenting detailed functional and non-functional requirements for a new public website RFP, ensuring these were delivered on time to start the procurement process with third party suppliers and agencies.
• Gathering and documenting detailed requirements for improved reporting of referrals, with supporting analysis including process mapping and data analysis of existing reporting procedures to highlight pain points.
• Analysis of Walkers' implementation of InTapp Intake, reviewing as-is process and configuration before recommending a revised to-be process, improving data capture and conflict search flows to improve data quality and overall user experience.
• Analysis and design of detailed as-is and to-be process flows using Visio, covering the entire Walkers billing cycle, from prebill creation through to posting of bills to clients, with this completed for all Walkers' offices.
• Ownership of internal process improvement initiative, liaising directly with attorneys and secretaries to provide updates on feedback and progress pilots of appropriate software (including InTapp Time), following vendor analysis.
• Liaison with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels, globally.
