Hi, my name is Deepika. My personal and professional life has not followed a predictable path. I was born in India and moved to the United States at seven years old. Growing up, I loved to study art, philosophy, history, religion, politics. This led me to pursue pre-law in college. Upon graduation, a great opportunity in product management landed at my feet, which started my career in tech. I moved to Boston and remained there for 10 years, climbing up to a position as Director of Product. At this moment, I decided to take a break from my career to start a family. My husband and I moved to Biarritz, France (he's French) to be close to his parents. And this is where I am now. After leaving my last job, I transitioned to Product Design and started a Freelance company, Untangle. I'm currently prioritizing Freelance opportunities in order to have more flexibility, but I'm open to permanent roles if its a good fit for both parties. I speak English fluently (in addition to Hindi and Punjabi), and I'm working on improving my French (currently at a B1 level proficiency).

Created interest-based matching algorithms and community features, with ongoing usability testing reveal ing key insights about user behavior and connection preferences.
