I spent 4+ years at BC Cancer's Genome Science Centre building and maintaining production data pipelines, PostgreSQL databases, and internal tooling for one of Canada's leading genomics institutions. The systems I worked on processed and stored over 5PB of sequencing data — with zero tolerance for downtime or data loss.
