Description

I am a scientist turned analytics manager. I started my career as a researcher at Fraunhofer ISI doing agent based and system dynamics simulations in the transport sector and being involved in policy consulting projects for German government agencies and the European commission.

I then joined EY as a senior consultant in the Transaction Advisory Services where I worked on economic advisory, advanced analytics and carve-out analytics projects. After promotion to manager I was responsible for ETL workstreams of large cross-competency carve-out projects for some of the biggest clients of EY (DAX listed).

As a freelancer I am looking forward to delivering advanced analytics, data integration and office automation projects, preferably as a manager or supervisor of a small team. I have broad experience in data integration, simulation forecasting, databases and statistical methods and a vast set of technical skills including Java, VBA, Python, SQL and Alteryx and I am open to work any sector and any location.

Identified efficiency bottlenecks in anti-financial crime processes and implemented low-complexity automation to eliminate manual work. Developed Excel-based VBA tools to automate sanctions list updates and improve handling of critical alerts. Delivered documented, maintainable solutions and trained staff to ensure long-term usability. Core processes were accelerated by an order of magnitude.
