The Project Management process and tools used by two of the larger IT and Telecommunications companies in the world are the result of my experiences in project and programme management and leadership. I authored new approaches and processes, implementing the ‘manage by project’ approach which led to phenomenal improvements in programme and project delivery efficiencies and costs.

While my experience includes roles as Projects Director EMEA, Senior Programme and Project Manager, with 35 years of experience working on complex projects within diverse and dynamic disciplines, my preferred roles are Project or Programme Manager. While predominantly within the Telecommunications Software Development and IT Hardware Implementation fields, I have extensive experience in Infra-Red, Mathematical, Mechanical and Chemical Engineering, as well as minor construction projects.

I am results oriented, focused on driving efficiencies and reducing costs, whilst also bringing a mathematical analytical style of problem solving. In leadership roles I strive to develop my team to their full potential and actively encourage ownership. I wrote my thesis for a Post Graduate Degree on how my measure and manage for High Performance Teams, which has proven extremely valuable in all positions where I’ve been able to implement this style of leadership and planning.
