After 15+ years of setting up front-end projects at product companies and agencies,
I've developed a clear sense of what makes a front-end foundation sustainable and
what quietly kills it. I help startups and product teams get it right from the start, or
get it back on track when it's needed.

- AI prototype to production - You have a prototype, AI-generated (vibe-coded) or beta app that does what it needs to do, but it's not production-ready. As a lead front-end developer I bring architecture, structure, and quality to turn it into something maintainable, built for growth, and ready to ship.
- Greenfield architecture - Starting from scratch, I work as a lead front-end architect; making the right technology choices, defining a clear structure, and establishing the tooling and workflow that support long-term development velocity.
- Modernisation - Your existing front-end has become a bottleneck. As a senior front-end engineer I rebuild it with a clean slate to increase velocity, improve quality, and ensure long-term maintainability.
I work closely with founders, CTOs, and tech leads, and I prefer to come in early on a project. I also collaborate closely with design and UX to implement design systems as component libraries, documented in Storybook and built according to accessibility (WCAG) standards. I use AI tooling like Cursor and Claude as a productivity multiplier in my daily work to increase output and code quality, and I'm exploring how to extend that into team-wide workflows and tooling.
When needed, I can also contribute to screening and hiring front-end developers, to
help you build the right team from the ground up. And I hand over projects with solid
documentation, good developer experience, and the structural clarity that sets the
team up for success.
