Guang in a few words
As a Chartered Accountant and Tax Advisor, I specialise in offering businesses R&D tax credit advice.

Whether you want someone to hand hold you through an entire claim process or review a particular challenging claim that you have done in the past, feel free to get in touch for a chat/free consultation.

A bit about myself:

I set up the UK's largest independent R&D tax practice in 2009.

Having hired, trained and managed more than 75 consultants across its UK offices, I helped make the company a household name for business R&D tax credit claims within my 10 year tenure.

I have strong technical knowledge of the R&D tax relief schemes in the UK for both SME and large companies (RDEC) and have worked on the then HMRC R&D Tax Consultative Committee contributing to shape the ever evolving claim landscape. I am very well positioned to handle interactions with HMRC inspectors in relation to claims.

I have also set up the company's Patent Box and Apprentice Levy offerings, establishing new revenue streams.

Apart from setting up relevant operational processes tailored for specific sectors' claims, I have also led the company's GDPR implementation in the UK, including setting up relevant documentations, policies and processes.

Whether you are already claiming R&D tax credits for your businesses, you may have questions that you do not necessarily feel comfortable asking your incumbent advisers. Spending some time with me may give you additional thoughts on the appropriate approach to dealing with your claim related issues.
