Hattie Parker

I am a multidisciplinary designer, the creator of The Devil and his Lettuce, a ceramics enthusiast, and i enjoy any opportunity to learn. I am a natural researcher, my award winning graduation project from Design Academy Eindhoven, was entirely research based and I was able to prove that I am capable of translating copious amounts of knowledge into an interesting and engaging format. During my ceramics minor in my third year at university, I set myself to writing essays for projects, as I needed to feel like I had a strong foundation of information and research off of which to base my work. I’m someone who likes to play and to make, I like to shape things with my hands, driven by instinct and tactility. I believe in the beauty of space, colour, light and form. I am endless inspired by the outdoors, and this is paired with an innate interest for the artistic, the historic, the bright, colourful and anything that is slightly against the grain in life.
