I had joined Genesis as I was personally affected by cancer, and wanted to use my technical skills and experience with a company in which my personal values aligned with the company vision. In my 2 years at Genesis I had implemented innovative ideas that made a difference to patient access, increased Practice efficiency and adding value to the business and achieving Employee of the quarter in recognition of my various accomplishments. My responsibilities have included managing a team of 3 looking after the oncology business, which is the core portfolio of the group 75% of company turnover (~$300M) and Business Partnering with our internal stakeholders (GMs, Doctors). My team provided Practice performance reports in the form of management, KPIs and Profit & Loss reports for four Practices and presentation to the Board on a monthly basis and in addition we also produced analysis, budgets and forecasts that would add value to the business.
