Business Development - EMEA ( Special Projects ) Invited in by the Tivoli Executive Team to identify and investigate new market opportunities for the Tivoli product suite with the freedom to travel anywhere within IBM and Tivoli. Sole mandate to identify strategic opportunities for development of partnership as well as develop immediate sales opportunities with IBM and Tivoli Sales Teams. Investigated current interest from clients and engineers within the business to determine emerging technology opportunities. Quickly identified Embedded Devices such as PDA's for the corporate enterprise network as untapped market, and the Digital TV Broadcasting Head-End and Remote Head infrastructure as well as Set-Top-Boxes being another untapped market Tivoli could participate in. Worked with Tivoli Development Team for a Proof of Concept and new Product Offering which, Extended the overall Tivoli Product Offering and Value to Clients, including arranging a strategic Partnerships for co-development and go-to-market World Wide with one of Europe's Largest Set-Top-Box manufacturers as well a Global PDA manufacturer.
