Providing high level engineering support to all Broadcast Services equipment to ensure the highest possible levels of technical and operational continuity to the transmission network. Maintaining specialist equipment for digital signal processing, video production, broadcast and satellite transmission and interactive media Analysing and repairing technical faults on equipment and systems. Overseeing the installation of new systems and expansion of existing systems for new channel launches, channel enhancements, and technically complex live shows. Troubleshooting problems with IP head-end, digital signal processing equipment, computer systems, hardware and software and making repairs and corrections where required. Providing support for Service Contribution, Encoding, Multiplex and Transmission software and hardware facilities Maintaining documentation of network infrastructure Administration of various systems Installing and configuring equipment in a Harmonic head-end environment Performing security measures on ICT systems accessibility

I offer ICT consulting services on a part time bases to Macs in Moz. My main areas of consulting at Macs are disaster recovery and business continuity, IT service management, network planning, design and implementation, IT security & Continuity management, Virtualization and general systems administration. Below are my duties during my monthly 4 day visits to Macs.

• Managing all internal operations and information systems.

• Ensuring that IT is run to company systems and policies

• Devising an IT strategy for the future to ensure the organization is firmly aligned with new technologies.

• Ensuring all financial objectives, budgets and objectives are met

• Verifying systems audits and ensuring that Disaster recovery and backups are met.

• Ensuring existing network operating systems, software, and hardware are all updated.

• Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
