A senior software engineer who strives for the highest standards, good planning and good execution.

I started programming when I was 14, I started by learning Java, then C++, followed by PHP a year later. I initially started programming to create mods for games but this soon became a hobby.

I started working on small websites on an old dell PC with a Celeron and 512MB ram. Since then I've come a very long way, I've worked on enterprise applications, 3D games, and even developed multiple AI algorithms.

After numerous employments post Army, I've decided to make the jump from full time employment to contractor as being self employed has always been a dream of mine. I've lead and contributed to many huge and successful services from monolithic applications to AWS serverless applications.

I have a fantastic work ethic and always strive to deliver the best and fastest solutions to applications, I have years of experience planning architectures as well as developing them.

At AIM Smarter I was a full stack developer and transitioned from an intermediate level to a senior level developer. My time at AIM smarter was spent fixing legacy bugs and bringing the monolith up to more modern standards. As well as improving the speed of the system by implementing webpack and other useful caching techniques. Alongside of this I worked with the companies microservices slowly reducing the monolith.
