Joséphine Taÿ Pamart

I spent part of my childhood and youth in London, which sparked a deep interest in the English language very early on. After my baccalauréat (French end of high school diploma), I went to a Parisian ‘prépa’ for two years. It’s an intensive humanities course with a focus on English language and literature.

I was then accepted into two French translation schools but decided instead to take the opportunity I had to go study at Oxford.

I graduated from the Sorbonne and Oxford university with a masters degree in English literature in 2015.

I also recently lived in New Zealand for almost a year.

My love and deep knowledge of the English language and culture, as well as the analytical and writing skills I acquired through my literary studies, make me the ideal candidate for all your translation work, be it personal or professional, technical or literary.

Après avoir passé une partie de mon enfance et de ma jeunesse à Londres, ce qui a éveillé très jeune mon amour de la langue anglaise, j’ai suivi une prépa spécialité anglais à Fénelon.

J’avais été acceptée dans deux écoles de traduction françaises mais j’ai préféré saisir l’opportunité qui m’était offerte d’étudier à Oxford. J’ai donc eu la chance de passer une année à l’université d’Oxford grâce au programme Erasmus, puis j’ai obtenu un master de recherche en littérature britannique de La Sorbonne Paris IV en 2015.

J’ai également vécu en Nouvelle Zélande pendant presque un an.

Mon amour et ma connaissance approfondie de la langue anglaise et de la culture Anglo saxonne, associés à ma solide capacité de rédaction acquise au cours de mes études littéraires, font de moi la personne idéale pour vos traductions personnelles ou professionnelles, techniques ou littéraires.
