KEY HIGHLIGHTS

As Car & Classic’s first product owner I had the exciting opportunity of leading their product transformation
from a free classified site to a transactional marketplace. I was responsible for curating and launching a brand new fee-paying service, whilst also improving the overall user experience and website UI. I was also responsible for all auction platform optimisations and BAU changes.

I was brought into On The Beach to help evolve the product function. Whilst working remotely during the pandemic, I successfully restructured and recruited into the team. I introduced Jake Knapp’s Design Sprint methodology as part of a strategic site redesign, and successfully delivered the automation of circa £165m customer refunds.

At thinkmoney I was tasked with leading the digital transformation of the telephony-based budgeting account. This included creating and delivering a compelling product roadmap. Focusing on customer onboarding, digital adoption and product ancillary cross-sell.

As Senior Product Manager on a greenfield project with startup 10x banking and Virgin Money, I led a crosscompany multi-skilled agile scrum team. I combined innovative technologies in the bank account onboarding, lending and Open Banking space, with customer-centric design to disrupt the market and help make customers better off.

I spent 5 years at Moneysupermarket reporting to the CPO leading key strategic work. As Head of Product Ops this included managing a team of UX designers, PMs, analysts and front-end developers to deliver 12 product design sprints that created 16 new prototypes, generating incremental revenue of £1.2m.

    Researched, curated and delivered a new fee-paying service as part of the company's transactional strategy, whilst also product managing auction platform optimisations and BAU requirements from all areas of the business.

    - Conducted in-depth customer interviews, developed a product vision & roadmap and recruited a product team, in order to deliver a new fee-paying product (achieved £21m gross listing value in first 6 mths and c. 3% sale rate)

    - Catering for a 2-sided marketplace and auction platform for both buyers & sellers, I was responsible for the delivery of new features, such as in-account chat, the ability to offer and counter-offer on platform, a redesigned listing form and a much-improved bidding portal

    - Implemented the ability to take card deposits to reduce losses. Using merchant-initiated payments as part of the auction registration process saw revenue loss from withdrawals reduce from 9% to 3%

    - Led initiatives of incremental optimisations and process improvements as part of quarterly OKR setting. These contributed to the efficient scaling of the on-line auctions platform that recently hit a record high of over £5m consignments in a week (was £1m in May 2022)

    - Increased NPS (net promoter score) from c.40 to 60 through ad removal, improved UX and cleaner UI

    - Executed a Trust Pilot strategy that saw reviews increase from 100 to over 1500 whilst maintaining 4.6*
