- Management of GIZ-internal acquisition processes for German "International Climate Initiative" (IKI) and further funding lines for the department Asia, Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean

- Supporting, advising and coaching of project teams in the countries regarding guidelines, project setup and implementation

- Management of project development for the Green Climate Fund in cooperation with other departments for Asia, Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean

- Management of the regional project "Adaption to Climate Change in public investments" (IPACC II) in Peru, Colombia and Brazil

- Coordination and negotiation with political partners in the three project countries and interface to German Ministry of Environment (BMU)

- Providing of expertise on climate change scenarios and measures for climate change adaptation in the sectors of energy, agriculture and health, e.g. Nature based solutions (NbS) for infrastructure

- Responsible Director for all BMU financed portfolio in Peru, including responsibility for 14 staff members and an annual budget of approx. 3,000,000 euros
