Kara in a few words
I have worked in the digital arena for over 25 year and have a wealth of digital experience in the User Centred design world. I have worked for well known brands, which include Avon Cosmetics, University of Northampton, Holland & Barrett and most recently Zaizi, a digital consultancy for the public sector.

I have most recently been designing services for UK public sector organisations and am SC cleared. I am able to confidently run workshops using Mural and Miro, create personas, user journeys and process maps and wireframe low and high fidelity prototypes in Figma using the GDS design system. I also have experience in being part of ateam, whereby we successfully passed a GDS assessment for an ALPHA first time and the project will shortly be starting on BETA phase.

I also have a real interest in optimisation. I was heavily involved in a CRO programme, using Optimizely for AB testing and GA for analytics.

I thrive at working in a delivery focussed agile environment and enjoy putting my vast experience with user-centred design to the test. I enjoy working closely with stakeholders to understand the balance between the user and the business needs. I have always put the user at the forefront of every decision I make and will always back my changes with analytics.

I have a wealth of digital experience in the User Centred Design world. Including, running workshops, creating wireframes, and designing lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes. I also have experience with conducting and analysing User Research sessions.
