• Ypto is the IT division of NMBS/SNCB (Belgian National Rail Company) and I work in the Content and Collaboration Services Team. My main focus in the role is solution architecting/designing by deciding which Power Platform components/features will be used and development leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform.

• As part of managing the governance of the Power Platform, I have implemented the CoE Starter Kit and also configured/changed the out of the box applications and flows to meet the client needs.

• My team is focused on application development in Microsoft Power Platform developing both Model Driven and Canvas applications. Power Automate is also used as per the automation needs. For the backend, we use Dataverse and SharePoint lists. I have also used other premium connectors to connect to other systems like ServiceNow. We also develop custom connectors to connect to our in-house applications.

• Mentoring Citizen Developers in various business units helping them with the platform (consulting). I am responsible for reviewing their applications and making recommendations or myself fixing the "bad code" thereby reducing the technical debt.

• Implemented the Microsoft Catalog for distribution of reusable components that help the standardization of applications being developed by our Citizen Developers.

• I am involved with the end users as well to gather requirements from them for development of new applications.

• I also fill the shoes of Scrum Master and the team works in Scrum.

• Worked as Scrum Master for Proximus, Belgium. I lead a team that was working on a web-based application leveraging

◦ JAVA microservices (Spring Boot)

◦ Angular 12 as the frontend

• The application aims at reducing the manual effort required in the Network Operations to design and document the network changes.

• I was involved in analysis and creation of functional and technical specifications for the development team.

• In addition to working as a full time Scrum Master, built a Power BI report on the usage of the web application that we were developing. The aim of the report is to identify the users who are not adopting the automation solution being developed and still sticking to the old manual ways of working. With this information we are able to pinpoint their areas of pain thereby improving the application and, in the end, making the customers happy.

• Developed a multi-language Leave Tracker application with MS Power Apps used at the team level to record and notify of leaves. The app sends daily MS Team notifications to inform about the leaves for a particular day, emails to managers and other people (as chosen in the app when creating a leave notification) and also sets out of office in Outlook calendar.

• Worked as the first point of contact for the client. Gathered requirements from the users/business and translated them into technical and functional specifications for off-shore development team.

• Developed a suite of applications in Power Apps. It was used to demonstrate to the prospective customers (business units) the capabilities of the Power Apps as a low code platform. Some of the applications in the catalogue were:

• Along with the initiatives on MS Chatbot framework, Google Lens implementation worked on a couple of projects in machine learning domain.

◦ Used KERAS to work on a Convolutional Neural Network for image classification. The machine learning model was used within the pet care segment for feces images classification of animals.

◦ Used Linear Regression for building a nutrition score calculator for food recipes.
