Liam Prentice

A hardworking architecture graduate from New Zealand. I have a multitude of skills that have been refined through university and my previous employment. Throughout my architecture degree, I discovered my passion for masterplanning and designing at the urban scale. My long-term goal is to support the development of sustainable cities with a focus on people-oriented design in architecture.

The projects from this degree led to a job offer from the urban design firm McIndoe Urban, based in Wellington. The work there helped me develop a multitude of skills: I was involved in a range of urban scale projects across the country producing context analysis drawings, site master-planning, physical block modelling, digital modelling, conceptual diagramming, CAD drafting and illustrative rendering. I often took part in client engagement meetings and stakeholder/public feedback workshops at various project stages.

In my spare time, I like to sketch urban spaces and create art and graphic design in Illustrator. I have often enjoyed doing freelancing design jobs for posters, logos, cafe menus and art.
