As investigator scientists in the Mitochondrial Genetics group, I study the regulation of mitochondrial gene expression and mitochondrial RNA modifications and defects of mitochondrial gene expression in disease and technologies to modify the mitochondrial genome. Next Generation Sequencing is a crucial technique for all this research, hence I have more than 8 years of experience in NGS study design (including the development of new methods), library prep and NGS data analysis and visualisation.
