In 2015 the Ministry of Justice awarded Restorative Change (then known as DARFA) half a million pounds to spend one year researching and designing a restorative model to work with whole families experiencing domestic abuse. The outcome was a fully manualised system, with the input and expertise of 6 organisations and many hundreds of their staff. The project also created training and methods for working in consortia, healthy relationships training for schools and mapping of service delivery. This resulted in a small pilot and some co-work with social services Integrated Family Services. We are currently publishing our work.
