Next Energy Consumer is a policy consultancy focusing on the social aspects of the energy and climate transitions at European and international levels. I am passionate about connecting people and ideas, providing advice, research, policy, advocacy and lobbying strategies on energy markets, consumer empowerment, energy poverty and alternative dispute resolution and bridging the gaps between the people and policies. The support and policy analysis services I provide help organisations to set up strategies to put the citizens back to the centre of the energy markets and improve their relationships with their users, in particular, the most in need. As executive director and chief consultant, I provide services on: 1. Research, reporting and policy analysis, including policy recommendations and project evaluation 2. Advocacy, Public affairs and lobbying towards local, national and European institutions 3. Training and capacity-building, including dissemination activities 4. LEAP-RE is an ecosystem funded by the European Union (Grant Agreement 963530) focused on research and development in Africa's clean energy sector. It has about a hundred members, half of whom are African. My work focuses on Madagascar and Burkina Faso human needs analysis and capacity building coordination, in the framework of the EURICA project (WP15), a project on flexibility and automated demand-side response aiming at improving electricity distribution.
