Energy and Services IT Internal Auditor Accountable for managing and delivering audits, within the Centrica IT function. Led project to deliver MetricStream M7 (GRC Integrated Risk platform) across Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk and Controls.

•Managed senior stakeholders and directors across business functions. Documented an early draft of an internal audit strategy document relating to Artificial Intelligence and RPA (Robotics Process Automation) and how this could change auditing going forward.

•Managed resources on audits (both KPMG resource and Centrica Guest Auditors).

•Developed a robust vendor selection process and negotiated a better contract and price, as part of GRC transformation working alongside procurement.

•Introduced Internal Audit Strategy for Artificial Intelligence and RPA.

•Upskilled Internal Audit Data Team on RPA and Hadoop interfaces and how this can be used for analytical purposes to validate audit findings.

•Investigated emerging risks within Cyber, AI algorithm bias.

•Implemented a new GRC tool called MetricStream across the Group Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Function.

Energy and Services Data Compliance & Audit Officer Obfuscation of test data to ensure GDPR compliancy and does not contain live data for non production environment within UK&I. Direct data services provided by our managed service, ensure projects have well defined and repeatable test data to ensure go-live. Working with cutting edge technology to support SDLC and highlight areas which require risk mitigation.

•Perform data audit activities across supported systems within United Kingdom and Ireland

•Ensure Projects are compliant using Data Compliance Checklist and challenge where appropriate.

•Maintain Technical Standards for Obfuscation is up to date and relevant.

•Work with cloud initiative to ensure all systems are assessed for current risk level and remediation is performed before any movement of non-production systems into cloud-based provider.

•Collaborate with Data Privacy and Information Security Risk Management teams to drive improvements with the current process where required.

•Identify technology and software for GDPR and Data Lifecycle which will ensure compliance is maintained.

•Create roadmap and increase scope within all geographical locations (outside of EMEA)

•Build upon Test Data Management principles and ensure Data Service are introducing these as part of the existing service.
