With 11 years across sport development, communications, marketing and donor relations, my background spans the full project lifecycle: designing strategy, securing investment, delivering programmes, managing partnerships, implementing scalable systems, and producing reporting frameworks that keep funders and stakeholders informed.

I’ve led local and international initiatives and am experienced building relationships across the public and private sectors. I bring a systems, culture and people-focused lens to everything I do and work particularly well with organisations navigating growth, change or increased accountability in the sport, health, social impact or community development space.

I’m a connector by nature. I build trust quickly, ask the right questions, and I’m as comfortable with frontline staff as I am presenting to a board or funder. I bring energy and clarity to complex projects and thrive in deadline-driven environments.

Areas of specific expertise and experience include: sport participation and community engagement; communications planning and execution; equity and diversity-focused design, particularly for women in sport; partnership brokering and management; coaching, leadership and workforce development; and monitoring, evaluation and reporting for funded initiatives or investment cycles.

Originally from New Zealand with Irish roots, I bring a cross-cultural perspective across diverse communities and international contexts.

Lead three key national portfolios - junior participation programmes, women and girls, and injury prevention. Empower a team of six direct reports to implement this work through a combination of direct delivery and providing strategic support to our 35 member associations. Manage relationships with government partners and oversee the implementation of core contract deliverables. Following the negotiation of a 2year design phase, confirmed a 3-year, $1.33m government investment to nationally roll out a custom basketball injury prevention programme across our ecosystem. Deliver strategic community outcomes for critical commercial partners which has led to a 52% annual increase in our national junior participation programme over 3 years and supported our commercial business unit to quadruple commercial revenue into the organisation. Lead the participation and leadership strategy for increasing the number of girls engaging with basketball and raising capability and capacity across our regional delivery network. This has resulted in tripling participation in our girls programme throughout the country (5,000 to 15,000). Designed and delivered a national leadership programme for emerging female leaders which is currently in it's third successive cycle.

Co-founded a performance coaching consultancy working across individual, team and corporate contexts. As a founding director, led the company’s strategic direction, communications and marketing, and programme design and delivery to build the business foundations from the ground up alongside two co-founders.
Designed and delivered bespoke team-building and leadership development workshops for corporate and organisational clients, creating programme frameworks that drew on performance coaching principles to build leadership capability, strengthen team cohesion and drive individual and collective growth.
