Nicholas Anyan

Senior board level finance professional with wide ranging experience (former FD) and adept in handling most business/management challenges at all levels alongide my core finance and accountancy specialism.

I am a qualified accountant and have previously held senior roles (finance director and head of finance) at various leading firms in the banking, legal and wider professional services sectors.

I have recently moved out of full time permanent roles, preferring instead to find a range of smaller portfolio projects or consultancy in areas that interest me and particularly where I have specialist knowledge or experience.

I am flexible and open to consider a range of time commitments from a few hours conultancy e.g. a 2hr meeting to advise on a particular issue (e.g. a team reorganisation), through to a couple of days per week or month. At the upper end I would consider a full time interim position or short term assignment for a month or two.

On the advisory side, areas that I tend to focus on include; finance team review and design, business performance and profitability deep dive review, using technology to automate and streamline processes, finance systems selection, strategic planning, recruitment, coaching/mentoring, defining and designing reporting, financial modeling and appraisal, property move and lease negotiation, project sponsor role.

I am London based and will consider all UK opportunities where a hybrid remote/office arrangement will be effective.
