Nikhil in a few words
As a freelance software developer, i work as an independent contractor to create and maintain software applications for clients. I have several years of experience in web development and specialize in using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
I have a strong portfolio of work that includes developing custom WordPress themes, building responsive websites, and creating web applications using frameworks such as React and Django. I am also comfortable working with databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.
To find work, I use online job boards, social media, and personal networks. I negotiate my rates with clients and manage my own finances, including invoicing and taxes. I communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
I work on a variety of projects, ranging from small website updates to full-scale web development projects. I use project management tools like Trello or Asana to track my progress and collaborate with clients and other freelancers.
To remain competitive in my field, I stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and programming languages. I attend conferences, read industry publications, and complete online courses to improve your skills(Learning Elements of AI now). I also network with other freelancers and attend meetups to stay connected with the larger developer community.
While freelancing provides me with a lot of flexibility and autonomy, i need to manage my own finances and secure my own benefits, including health insurance and retirement savings. I also need to be self-motivated and disciplined to manage my own time and workload.
