Delivering the digital imaging & multimodal initiative at Genomics England, combining digital pathology, radiology and genomic data to create a unique multi-omic resource for cancer research.

Responsible for setting up and managing the NIHR Respiratory Translational Research Collaboration (R-TRC), bringing together internationally recognised investigators in the UK's leading centres of excellence to carry out multi-centre experimental and early phase research with industry, charities and other funders. The R-TRC's aim is to advance research in respiratory diseases and accelerate the translation of promising discoveries into tangible benefits for patients. The NIHR Collaboration Operations Manager is a senior coordinating role working with the R-TRC Chair, NIHR Office for Clinical Research Infrastructure (NOCRI), NIHR investigators, Operational Leads and patients to develop a national respiratory strategy and activities; in response to the research priorities and aims identified by its members. I set up nation-wide research strategy groups to address the unmet need in cystic fibrosis, asthma and pulmonary hypertension which identify key research questions and strategies to overcome barriers and promote collaborative working. I also coordinated the NIHR's national response to the Covid-19 pandemic and managed a £15 million pound portfolio of clinical trials. The NIHR R-TRC is chaired by Prof. Ling-Pei Ho, Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Oxford University and NIHR BRC Interstitial Lung Disease Theme Lead.
