Architected a high-availability infrastructure using AWS services,
including EC2, VPC, EKS, and Lambda, to support AppCloud
applications.
● Built Kubernetes clusters (both EKS and self-managed) and
automated deployments with CI/CD pipelines using Ansible
(Playbooks, Galaxy and Tower) and GitLab.
● Successfully migrated our on-prem Kubernetes cluster to Amazon
EKS after a thorough evaluation of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
While both services provided robust capabilities, we chose EKS due to
its cost-effectiveness, aligning better with our budget and long-term
scaling needs. The migration involved careful planning to ensure
minimal downtime and seamless integration with our existing
infrastructure.
● Created a custom ansible playbook for managing on-prem Kubernetes
clusters. This playbook can handle enabling of feature flags in
kubernetes. I personally created a Kubernetes cluster where Dual
stack IPv4/IPv6 was a requirement. I published a medium article
where I go into details of this implementation.

● Developed central logging and metrics systems leveraging
Prometheus, Fluent-Bit, and Splunk.
● Implemented AWS Amplify to manage Node.js backend APIs for an
internal portal.
● Created auto-scaling scripts for etcd clusters and Ansible playbooks
