Hello 👋 This is RajaSekhar– here’s my journey as a SAP consultant.

I started SAP career in ECC 6.0, quickly realising my passion was in Controlling — helping businesses understand their costs, improve profitability, and make faster, smarter decisions. Over the past 7+ years, I’ve worked on full-cycle implementations, brownfield migrations, and long-term CO support for clients in steel, automotive, and multinational sectors in both ECC and S4 Hana environments.

Along the way, I’ve:

Delivered 1 ECC full implementation and 1 S/4HANA brownfield migration along with two support projects

Mastered Product Costing, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, COPA, and Profit Centre Accounting

Designed custom Fiori applications to make CO processes more user-friendly

Led month/year-end closings and resolved complex performance issues

Integrated CO seamlessly with FI, MM, SD, PP and PS to streamline operations

One of my favourite projects?working closely with a client to deeply understand their business requirements and then configuring SAP CO to perfectly match their operational needs. Seeing the system run smoothly and deliver exactly what they wanted was the most satisfying part.

• Part of S/4HANA brownfeld migration, transitioning 100+ company codes from ECC and ensuring seamless integration with MM, PP, PS, and SD modules for smooth cross-functional operations
• Confgured and optimised Controlling (CO) structures, including cost centres, proft centres, internal orders, and assessment cycles across 100+ company codes, to align fnancial reporting with AMEA regional requirements.
• Implemented Material Ledger with Actual Costing (CKMLCP) in S/4HANA for multi-currency and multi-valuation environments, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and COGS revaluation.
• Confgured Make-to-Order (MTO) costing with sales order as the cost object for customer-specifc manufacturing scenarios
• Confgured Make-to-Stock (MTS) product costing using standard cost estimates for mass-production scenarios.
• Performed CK11N/CK40N cost estimates and released standard costs for materials to support material valuation and margin analysis.
• Provided variance analysis for management reporting in CO-PC and COPA.
• Resolved 250+ incidents by changing confguration and creating customised Z transactions as per user requirement
• Eliminated 15+ custom Z transaction codes by reconfguring processes in S/4HANA with standard T-codes.
• Delivered end-user training and workshops; ensured smooth cutover, SIT, UAT, and fnancial period-end activities.
• Delivered training and workshops for end-users across the AMEA region to adapt to S/4HANA Fiori interface, real-time reporting, and new controlling processes.
• Integrated MTS costing with Material Ledger (Actual Costing) to ensure true cost valuation and periodic unit price calculation in S/4HANA.
