⚫ Providing expert GIS capabilities for planning projects to support Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage (DHLGH).

⚫ Consulted with end-users on numerous occasions to understand requirements and provide on-time scheduled updates with user acceptance testing and training prior to product going live.

⚫ Developed a data collection GIS-based web application (ESRI Experience Builder) for local authorities to add and update crucial information on planning applications to track building activity.

⚫ Write Arcade Expressions for data entry forms for automatic infill from other data layers and for data validation purposes.

⚫ Use of FME and ArcGIS Pro to automate data collection results to update internal and public facing dashboards and graphs, as well as automating quarterly reports with updated data and insights.

⚫ Developed an Earth Observation (EO) Portal using Esri ArcGIS Hub Site, with customised HTML and CSS code, to signpost resources and provide EO data to upskill and promote collaboration within NI Public Sector.

⚫ Host various workshops and stakeholder events to understand the requirements of NI Public Sector to tailor the portal development and continue to engage with the stakeholders.

⚫ Developed Experience Builder applications to provide the users to easily view and download EO data.

⚫ Use of Remote Sensing techniques to aid in the development of use cases, including providing GI consulting and GI analysis to The Forest Service NI in detecting wind-thrown trees and felled trees, and automatically detecting new building extensions for Land and Property Services (LPS).

⚫ Provided technical support and successfully managed a small research and development team.

⚫ Analysed and manipulated large quantities of data of varying types and formats, for example, csv, excel, point and polygon shapefiles, to combine into one concise table and spatial layer to represent Land Use and Land Cover in NI.

⚫ Developed methods tailored to specific datasets using problem-solving skills.

⚫ Use of ArcGIS Pro software, SQL queries, and Excel spreadsheets to clean, process, analyse and manipulate data.

⚫ Produced models in ModelBuilder in ArcGIS Pro, and creation of workbenches in FME to automate processes.

⚫ Presented and shared data/knowledge through live demos, production of summary tables, graphs, reports, and maps in Excel and ArcGIS Pro.

⚫ Primarily worked with the Land Parcel Identification System (LPIS) team that is funded by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (DAERA) to continuously improve the existing dataset by updating it against up-to date OSNI orthophotography.

⚫ Ensured correct data attribution and attribute and geometry editing within a web-based GI platform provided by Esri.

⚫ Use of SQL queries to run data validation checks each week to minimise human error and ensure high data accuracy and consistency.
