● I led the delivery of a portfolio of analytical services based on large-scale healthcare commissioning and clinical data for hospital services. My expertise was key to validating the suitability of business cases aiming at redesigning care services and complex business structures in Surrey.

● I acted as the analytical expert for senior stakeholders, communicating complex information to non-technical leadership. I negotiated data requirements and outcomes, validated insights and presented findings on summary papers, written reports and working group meetings.

● I provided performance reporting and KPIs outputs to evaluate programmes and projects in ICB. I maintained a library of KPI definitions and metrics, kept regular reporting systems, ensured data quality and negotiated improvements with stakeholders. I authored new technical documentation standardising best data governance practices and safety compliance in the team as well as governance SOPs for new reporting systems.

● I led the development of reporting dashboards using Tableau and Power BI. I implemented a set of dashboards providing clear insights from information obtained from millions of healthcare records across multiple data sources. I implemented best practices when developing dashboards in a team beginning to transform old legacy reporting systems to cloud solutions.

● I developed the data science team's capabilities from traditional BI reporting to advanced statistical techniques through workshops and innovative projects. For example, I applied Python to design a predictive tool to forecast non-elective bed demand in hospitals during winter, using seasonality, surveillance data and demographic information. The tool implemented automated data capture using SQL and API services UEC managers to act before unexpected increases in care demand.

● I was the primary contact for specialist advice on epidemiology reporting and programme performance evaluation. I owned a portfolio of analytical projects supporting health protection responses and vaccination programmes.

● As part of the health protection function, I acted as the owner of statutory national data submissions, ensuring the accuracy of reported communicable disease rates and vaccination uptake in priority populations.

● I designed rapid reporting processes to support outbreak response and statistical models to evaluate the severity. I managed non-technical staff in supporting the data capture of disease progression and immunisation of protected populations, such as children on school vaccination programmes.

● I monitored the effectiveness of vaccination programmes for the workforce and the general population. I applied statistical techniques to simulate programme progression and set weekly goals through growth statistical models. I evaluate year-to-year variations of vaccination programmes based on geospatial models and time to travel, reporting the impact of changes in hub locations and burden for our population.

● I worked within a digital health research group specialising in the application of big data and advanced analytics for healthcare. The group also delivered digital healthcare solutions via consultancy services for government bodies and private organisations. For example, the evaluation of operational delays in pathways, the development of analytical systems and expertise in evaluating the impact of new care guidelines.

● I designed and delivered clinical insights using unsupervised machine learning and process mining methodologies to review changes in diabetes care management over a 10-year period. This work supported a root-cause review of the delayed guideline adoption across consultants.

● I contributed to a national, multi-million government programme focused on advancing the use of big data and AI for personalised medicine. I led the development of monitoring dashboards to visualise air quality across neighbourhoods and analysed relationships between satellite-derived air-quality metrics, seasonal variation in emergency care demand, and population risk stratification for conditions such as asthma and COPD.

● I collaborated with the WHO Regional Office for Europe, co-authoring scientific publications. I also presented training workshops related to BI tools for big data targeted to health public workers in different WHO countries, conducted at the Technical University of Valencia.
