As a current PhD candidate at Teesside University, I am passionate about pursuing cutting-edge research in the intersection of creative writing and mental health. Through this program, I have had the opportunity to delve deeply into this field and to expand my knowledge and skills in both research and writing. My research has allowed me to develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I am constantly seeking opportunities to further my understanding of this field and to contribute to the ongoing discourse around this important topic. I am proud to be a part of the Teesside University community and to be engaging in research that has the potential to make a meaningful impact on mental health and well-being. While pursuing my PhD, I gained valuable experience as a porter at the University of Chester, where I worked at the Warrington campus alongside one other staff member during our shift. In this role, we were responsible for responding to maintenance, pastoral, and environmental needs in a timely and responsive manner, while also taking the lead on all first aid incidents. This included being the first responders to several major incidents, demonstrating my ability to remain calm and focused under pressure while providing critical support to those in need.
