Managed a distributed team of fifteen developers on a mission to deliver the v2 of our product based on the newly proposed architecture and technology. Reported to the CTO. Lead the modernisation of our SaaS platform from a PHP monolith to a microservices architecture running on Kubernetes; similarly with the platform's front-end, from Angular.js to React and Redux. Personally trained the development team on the new technology and architecture. Worked to instill a DevOps culture across the tech department. Worked with our operations team to build a self-serve platform for developers to deploy apps, services, and workflows via Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, GitOps, Argo CD, and Ambassador. Worked with developers to train them on CI/CD, and observability, and make them responsible for their work from development to production. Introduced an approach to engineering design based on design docs and ADRs. Standardised as much as possible, including code style, commit messages, and CI/CD pipelines.

Worked as a developer on the company's B2B change management platform while overseeing a small team of junior developers.
