I am a professional software developer experienced in fullstack and mobile app development work. Additionally, I have professional experience running production applications in Azure, and manually hosting via VPS providers such as Linode/Hetzner/etc. utilising containerisation & orchestration technologies like Docker.
I typically work on the following types of projects:
- Web-facing projects - typically fullstack or just backend. I am most comfortable in the backend side of projects, however I am fully capable and willing to work on the user interface portion too, following a pre-determined design or set of requirements. I have worked on multiple internal tools for my roles using these sort of technologies.
I am familiar with Svelte/SvelteKit and React/Next for frontend development, whichever is required - or basic HTML + CSS if necessary. For a component library, I usually use Tailwind alongside shadcn (and derivatives).
For the backend portion, I am familiar with Kotlin with Ktor, Rust with Axum & Warp, Go with the standard library net/http module - and would be capable and willing to learn/use other technologies as necessary.
- Mobile apps - I have professional experience developing mobile applications for Android and iOS using their native technologies (SwiftUI & Compose). However, I am also capable of developing in React Native with Expo.
